Italian Lecturer Filippo Andrei gives a lecture in celebration of the 700th birthday of Giovanni Boccaccio. Boccaccio's masterpiece, the Decameron, can be read as a journey toward the acquisition of a certain knowledge necessary for understanding the world in ethical terms.
