LARC Annual Program: Eileen Boris, 'More than a Labor of Love: the Work of Home Care'

Labor Archives and Research Center celebrates its 27th anniversary with a program focusing on domestic workers. The featured speaker will be feminist historian Eileen Boris on her new book "Caring for America." Organizers from Mujeres Unidas y Activas will provide an update on current campaigns, and La Peña chorus director Lichi Fuentes will provide a musical performance. Light refreshments at 6:30 p.m., program begins at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
