Myung Mi Kim is a Korean American poet noted for her postmodern writings. Kim and her family emigrated to the United States when she was 9 years old. She holds an M.F.A. and is a former Creative Writing professor at SF State. She is now professor of English at University at Buffalo. Her book "Under Flag," won the 1991 Multicultural Publishers Book Award. Her other boks include "Commons," "The Bounty" and "Dura."
