Lecture: "Writers on Writing: Karen Joy Fowler"

Karen Joy Fowler is the author of six novels and three short-story collections including "The Jane Austen Book Club." Pulitzer Prize-winning author Michael Chabon says of Fowler, "No contemporary writer creates characters more appealing, or examines them with greater acuity and forgiveness, than she does." The Creative Writing Department opens its Writers on Writing course to the public every Monday evening of the semester. Taught by Professor Robert Gluck, the course features faculty and visiting writers reading from their works and discussing their creative process.
