MGSA Greek Language Pedagogy Workshop

Oct. 12 and Oct. 13, 2012: The Modern Greek Studies Association's Undergraduate Committee and the local arrangements committee at SF State, overseen by the faculty at the Center for Modern Greek Studies, are pleased to extend an invitation to instructors of Modern Greek and anyone interested in second language acquisition and Modern Greek pedagogy to attend the MGSA's 4th biennial workshop on Greek Language Instruction, at San Francisco State University. Sessions will include presentations and hands-on workshops on the following themes: The Theories and Methods of Foreign Language Teaching, Task-Based Instruction, The Development of Writing Skills, Teaching Grammar and Vocabulary, Strategies for developing Reading and Listening Skills, etc. The schedule will be available later this month and will be posted on the Center for Modern Greek Studies' website.
