The master class will include a screening of "Deadly Deception: General Electric, Nuclear Weapons and Our Environment" and clips from "Straightlaced: How Gender's Got Us All Tied Up." The event is part of the Documentary Film Institute's fall master-class series. Cinema students and the Bay Area community will have the opportunity to engage documentary filmmakers in rigorous filmmaking discourse from experts. The series revolves around the pre-production process of making a documentary film from concept and social activism to funding and producing.
