The master class will include a screening of excerpts from works including "Hoop Dreams," "Boys to Men?," "Veterans Journey Home," "Journey from Zanskar" and shorts.
The event is part of the Documentary Film Institute's fall master-class series. Cinema students and the Bay Area community will have the opportunity to engage documentary filmmakers in rigorous filmmaking discourse from experts. The series revolves around the pre-production process of making a documentary film from concept and social activism to funding and producing.
