Theatre: "Original One-Acts"

Student-written plays make their last journey: up off the page to strut around on the stage, in all their wildness, excellence and imperfection. "Joy" by Jameliah Bates, "La Cajita" by Ben Calabrese and "The M. Documents" by Terry Boero. For more than 15 years in the Original One-Acts, plays have made this leap from the singular imagination of student writers into collaborative ventures that include performers, directors, dramaturges, musicians, designers, managers, backstage support-and audience. The Original One-Acts have acted as a springboard for star playwrights such as Marcus Gardley and Peter Sinn Nachtrieb. Faculty adviser: Roy Conboy
