In continuation of a summer full of professional development workshops, this NSF Grant Writing workshop will focus on developing strong graduate NSF and other fellowship applications.
The second session will be about reviewing draft proposals from students. Workshop deadlines include:
July 1 Personal Statement Drafts due.
July 15 Past and Future Research Statement Draft sent to you Advisor.
August 7 Past and Future Research Statement Drafts due.
Reviewers will include SFSU Professors that have served on previous NSF GRF panels.
At the conclusion of the session students will have stronger personal statements and "Proposed Plan of Research" (a two page document that is required in the grant application). These will be useful for NSF and for applications.
